This policy covers the Radio Vista iPhone and iPad app the web atlas at radiovista.app and its support pages, and the support pages under medminute.app/radiovista. It does not describe other apps or other areas of the MedMinute website.
Using the app
Radio Vista works without an account. Its image series and quizzes are bundled with the app and can be used offline. The app includes no advertising, analytics SDK, tracking, patient upload feature or in-app purchases. It does not send image selections or quiz answers to us. Quiz answers remain in the current session.
Radio Vista does not request access to your camera, microphone, photo library, contacts or location. It does not analyse your own medical images. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising, profiling or automated decisions.
Visiting this website
Our website is hosted by Hostinger. When you request a page, the hosting infrastructure processes connection and access data such as your IP address, request time, requested resource, browser/device information and response status. This is necessary to deliver the page, investigate failures and protect the website against misuse. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: our legitimate interest in operating a secure, reliable educational website.
The Radio Vista pages use no analytics scripts, advertising, contact forms, embedded third-party media, non-essential cookies or browser storage. Fonts and styles are served with the website. The web atlas downloads image series, videos and models from our hosting when you open them. Selections and quiz answers stay in the browser session. Hostinger’s server logs are separate from the offline app.
Hostinger and its infrastructure providers receive technical data for hosting and security. Hostinger’s published data-processing terms identify Hostinger International Ltd. as the processor and describe subprocessors and transfer safeguards. See Hostinger’s data-processing addendum and privacy policy.
Contacting support
If you email us, we receive your email address, any name you provide, your message and attachments. We use this information to answer your enquiry and resolve reported issues. Providing it is voluntary, but we cannot reply without a contact address. Please do not send patient images, medical records or other sensitive health information.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and maintaining the app. Where an enquiry concerns a contract or steps you request before entering one, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR applies instead.
The support mailbox uses Apple iCloud Mail. Apple processes correspondence and technical information to operate the email service. For EEA users, Apple identifies Apple Distribution International Limited, Ireland, as the responsible Apple entity. See Apple’s privacy policy.
Retention
Support correspondence is retained while an enquiry or related technical issue remains open and for as long as needed to handle directly related follow-up. Once that purpose has ended, personal correspondence is deleted unless it is needed to comply with a legal obligation or establish, exercise or defend a legal claim. In those cases, retention is limited to the applicable obligation or claim.
Hosting access and security records are managed by the hosting provider. Their retention depends on their operational and security purpose and the provider’s applicable service rules; we do not promise a fixed deletion interval for provider-managed logs. We do not export routine access logs into a separate visitor database. Any records retained by us to investigate a specific incident are deleted once the investigation and any related legal requirements no longer require them.
International processing
Hostinger, Apple and their service providers may process information outside your country, including outside the EEA. Hostinger’s data-processing terms provide for EU Standard Contractual Clauses for relevant transfers to countries without an adequacy decision. Apple also describes Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers of EEA personal data. The linked provider policies explain these arrangements; copies of applicable safeguards can be requested through the providers’ privacy contacts or by contacting us.
Apple distribution and external links
Apple processes App Store downloads and TestFlight participation under its own terms and privacy information. Depending on your Apple sharing settings and use of TestFlight, Apple may make diagnostics, testing feedback or distribution statistics available to us. We use information made available to investigate issues and maintain the app; Radio Vista adds no separate reporting SDK.
When you choose a support, privacy or source link, your browser connects to that website, which receives connection information such as your IP address. Each external website handles that information under its own privacy policy. No external site is opened just by browsing the bundled atlas.
Your rights
Where the GDPR applies, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction of processing and, where applicable, data portability. You may object to processing based on Article 6(1)(f) on grounds relating to your particular situation. If processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it for the future. These rights are subject to their legal conditions. Contact us using the email above.
You may complain to a data-protection supervisory authority, including the authority where you live or work. For our location, the authority is the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen (LDI NRW), Kavalleriestraße 2–4, 40213 Düsseldorf, Germany; poststelle@ldi.nrw.de.
Changes
We update this page if the app, website or relevant processing changes. The effective date appears above.
